HORNDEAN were left frustrated by the weather after having two matches postponed in the last week.

The Deans’ match against AFC Portchester in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division last Tuesday night was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at Five Heads Park.

Horndean’s league trip to Verwood Town on Saturday afternoon also fell foul of the elements.
