HORNDEAN slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Brockenhurst on Saturday in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

Robbie Tambling was on target for the Deans.

Horndean won 3-1 at home to Team Solent last Tuesday night though in the first round of the Hampshire FA Senior Cup.

Brad Gale, Joe Richardson and Tambling scored the goals to send the Deans through to the next round.
