HORNDEAN are in seventh place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after earning an impressive 0-0 draw at home to second-placed Blackfield and Langley on Saturday afternoon.

The Deans were pushing for the three points and almost scored a late winner when Lee Tigwell hit the crossbar.

The title-chasing visitors managed to survive the storm though and hung on to earn a share of the spoils.
