HORNDEAN are in ninth place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after being held to a 2-2 draw at lowly Whitchurch United on Saturday afternoon.

The Deans broke the deadlock at Longmeadow but then fell 2-1 behind before rescuing a share of the spoils with a late equaliser.

Robbie Tambling and Mark Smith were both on target for the Five Heads Park outfit.
