HORNDEAN are in second place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after winning 2-1 at Alresford Town on Saturday afternoon.

Zac Glasspool gave the Deans the lead in the 39th minute, and Jack Maloney doubled Horndean’s advantage when he scored on 71 minutes to make it 2-0 to the visitors.

Ben White pulled a goal back for Alresford to make it 2-1, but the Deans held on for the win.
