HORNDEAN are in seventh place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after slipping to a 3-2 defeat at Verwood Town last night.

The hosts took the lead through Aaron Atkinson’s goal, although Ian Humble equalised for the Deans before the break. Verwood regained the lead in the second half through Liam Donachy’s goal, and Charles Gajic made it 3-1 to the hosts. Albert Egboh pulled a goal back for the visitors, but the Deans were unable to find an equaliser.
