HORNDEAN are through to the next round of the FA Cup after winning 3-0 at Ascot United in the Preliminary Round on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half Benny Read gave the Deans the lead in the second half, before Zac Glasspool doubled Horndean’s advantage.

Harry Jackson completed the scoring when he made it 3-0 to the Five Heads Park outfit.

Horndean’s reward for their victory is a trip to Bostik League Premier Division outfit Margate in the First Qualifying Round.

The tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 8, at 3pm.
