HORNDEAN are in 11th place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after earning an impressive 3-1 win at home to Sholing on Saturday afternoon.

The Deans took the lead in the 11th minute when Joe Richardson shot into the bottom corner. The Five Heads Park outfit doubled their advantage on 29 minutes when Connor Duffin found the bottom corner. It was 3-0 in the 57th minute when Mark Smith confidently tucked the ball home. Sholing pulled a goal back on 68 minutes when Pete Castle headed the ball over the line.
