ALRESFORD Town had a good week as they picked up two wins.

They started with a 4-2 win at home to Overton United in the first round of the North Hampshire Senior Cup last Tuesday night.

Luke Rae gave Alresford the lead in the 17th minute, and Rae made it 2-0 on 46 minutes.

Christian Cox pulled a goal back for Overton in the 62nd minute, but George Farrelly made it 3-1 on 68 minutes.

James Jupp pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 77th minute, but Rae completed his hat-trick on 88 minutes to make it 4-2 to the hosts.

Alresford then won 6-3 at home to Bashley in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday afternoon.

Dan Munday gave the visitors the lead in the fifth minute, but Sam Burt equalised for the Magpies on 11 minutes.

Cameron Bard put Bashley 2-1 up in the 15th minute, and Bard made it 3-1 on 24 minutes.

Paul Coventry pulled a goal back for Alresford in the 40th minute, and Burt made it 3-3 on 45 minutes. Alex Dockree gave the Magpies the lead in the 54th minute, and Burt completed his hat-trick on 68 minutes.

Coventry made it 6-3 in the 75th minute.
