PORTSMOUTH fan John Westwood believes the proposed takeover by American billionaire Michael Eisner could be good news for the club.

Eisner will meet fans at the Portsmouth Guildhall tomorrow (Thursday) evening to discuss his plans for Pompey.

Club shareholders will then vote later this month on whether to approve the takeover.

“Michael Eisner looks credible and we’ve got to trust someone some day,” said Westwood. “I think I trust him. As long as the club prospers and he doesn’t bleed us dry that’s fine. If everything he does is for the betterment of the club, he’s not going to get any complaints.”
