EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy week of fixtures.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday, high-flying Horndean will entertain Shaftesbury at Five Heads Park (3pm), while Alresford Town are on the road and will travel to Bashley Road to face Bashley (3pm).

The Magpies will be looking to complete the double after winning 6-3 at home to Bashley in the reverse league fixture on October 27.

In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division on Saturday, 12th-placed Liss Athletic will host 14th-placed Clanfield at the Newman Collard Playing Fields in an East Hampshire derby (2pm), while eighth-placed Liphook United will travel to Overton Recreation Centre to face fourth-placed Overton United (2pm).

Liss drew 1-1 away at Clanfield in the reverse league fixture on August 27, while Liphook will be looking for revenge after falling to a 3-1 defeat at home to Overton on August 27.

In Division 1 of the Hampshire Premier League on Saturday, bottom side AFC Petersfield will travel to Station Road Recreation Ground to face fifth-placed Netley Central Sports (2pm).

Horndean will be in action next Tuesday night, February 12, when they will entertain Lymington Town at Five Heads Park in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division (7.45pm).

Alresford Town will also be in action next Tuesday night, February 12, when they will host Winchester Castle at Arlebury Park in the semi-finals of the North Hants Senior Cup (7.45pm).
