Petersfield Town 2 Barton Rovers 2: PETERSFIELD Town cruelly had their first Southern League win snatched from their grasp in the seventh minute of injury time.

The Rams took the lead after 27 minutes when Stuart Green played Joe Richardson in and he rolled the ball into the bottom corner.

The visitors equalised two minutes later when Joe Reynolds smashed a free kick into the top corner.

Petersfield got themselves back in front on 50 minutes when a corner dropped down two yards out and Ryan Woodford reacted quickest to smash the ball into the net.

But there was heartbreak for the home side when a long throw in from the right saw David Longe-King outjump everyone to knock the ball into the net.
