LIPHOOK United are in third place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after winning 3-2 at home to Clanfield on Saturday afternoon at the Recreation Ground.

Stuart Green broke the deadlock for the home side in the third minute, but Cameron Palin equalised for the Peel Park outfit on 28 minutes.

Harry Potter’s magic gave the visitors the lead in the 54th minute, and it looked like the three points were heading back to Clanfield.

There was late drama to come though, with Steve Harding equalising for the hosts on 85 minutes. Rich Covey then struck in the 88th minute to make it 3-2 to Liphook.

The defeat leaves Clanfield in ninth place.
