LIPHOOK United gave title favourites Bush Hill a tough game before succumbing to a 2-1 defeat in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division on Saturday afternoon.

John Macauley gave the visitors the lead in the sixth minute, but Oli Graham got Liphook back on level terms on 41 minutes. Mark Barker scored Bush Hill’s winner in the 59th minute.

The defeat leaves Liphook in ninth place in the league table.
