LIPHOOK United went 14th in the Hampshire Premier League table after beating Winchester Castle 4-2.

Sam Gray opened the scoring on 19 minutes before Alex Yates got their second eight minutes later.

Steve Harding put Liphook 3-0 up on 65 minutes before the visitors staged a bit of a comeback when Stuart Findlay and Sam Strange netted four minutes apart to make it 3-2 with 17 minutes remaining.

Harding made sure of the three points though when he scored his second goal four minutes before full time.

Liphook travel to Baffins Milton Rovers in the Intermediate Cup on Saturday.
