LIPHOOK United got off to a winning start in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division with a 2-0 victory at Athletico Romsey.

Peter Lovas and Ryan Angear were Liphook’s goalscorers.

Clanfield lost 2-1 at home to Stockbridge. Andy Brown scored for the hosts, but goals from Liam Dufall and Callum Buck gave the visitors the three points.

Liss Athletic lost 4-2 at home to Bush Hill. Stu Maunder and Simon Batey were on target for the hosts, but goals from Callum Drake, Perry Harding, John Macauley and Louis Kelly gave Bush Hill the win.
