LISS Athletic have moved up to second place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division table after earning a narrow 2-1 win at Winchester Castle on Saturday.

Alex Miroy’s goal in the 60th minute gave the visitors the lead, although Alex White equalised for the hosts on 62 minutes.

Lee Bedden scored the winner for Rich Bessey’s side in the 67th minute, and Liss have now won 12 league games in a row.
