LISS Athletic are in sixth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League after earning a creditable 2-2 draw at home to league leaders Hayling United on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors took the lead in the 20th minute through Kieran Carter’s goal, and Danny Lane doubled Hayling’s advantage on 59 minutes.
Dan Sharpe pulled a goal back for Liss in the 60th minute, and Tom Scott rescued a point for the hosts on 83 minutes.
