LISS Athletic are in 11th place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after losing 3-2 away at Stockbridge on Saturday afternoon.

Callum Buck gave the home side the lead in the 16th minute, and Buck scored his and Stockbridge’s second goal of the afternoon on 24 minutes to double the home side’s advantage.

Liss were 2-0 down at half time, but Mitchell Frost got the visitors back in the game when he pulled a goal back in the 47th minute.

William Butcher scored Liss’ equaliser on 55 minutes to make it 2-2, but Lewis Price-Lloyd scored a penalty in the 61st minute to put Stockbridge 3-2 ahead.

The visitors were unable to find another equaliser as they fell to a close defeat.
