LISS Athletic returned to winning ways on Saturday with a comprehensive 4-1 victory at Locks Heath in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.

Jack Mannell gave the hosts the lead in the 25th minute, but Reece Lewis’ equaliser got Liss back on level terms on 35 minutes.

George Root gave Liss the lead one again in the 73rd minute, and Root scored his second goal of the afternoon on 82 minutes to make it 3-1.

John Davis completed the scoring when he scored Liss’ fourth goal on 89 minutes.

The three points leave Liss in 12th place in the Senior Division table.
