PETERSFIELD Town are due to hit the road this Saturday for their longest trip of the season.

The Rams make the 256-mile round trip to Cambridgeshire on Saturday to take on St Ives Town in the Southern League Division 1 Central (kick-off 3pm).

They will be praying for good weather for the weekend as nobody from the Rams camp will be wanting to make that journey in midweek if it is postponed.

Petersfield’s game at home to Beaconsfield SYCOB on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged Love Lane pitch.

The Rams host Chalfont St Peter next Wednesday (March 2).
