LISS Athletic reached the next round of the Hampshire Premier Senior Cup after knocking out Broughton in the second round on Saturday.

Liss won 4-3 on penalties after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw.

Despite progressing to the next round of the competition, Liss have announced first-team manager Gary Gibson has left the club.

Liss have struggled badly in the league this season, and are rooted to the bottom of the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division table with five points from 13 league games.
