Milland 4 Angmering 2: MILLAND took on an unbeaten Angmering side in the Bareham Trophy.

Milland were finally back to fielding a strong side after struggling to get all their players on the pitch for most of September.

The referee gave a penalty to Angmering in the first five minutes, and the Milland player was sent off.

However, this seemed to galvananise Milland who fought back and took control of the game.

Milland drew level when Mat Clapham finished an excellent move by firing in at the back post.

At this point Milland were dominating the game and went ahead through Oli Neal.

In the second half Milland continued to control the game and another flowing move was finished off by Steve Cole.

The referee awarded two more penalties, one to each side, with Neal scoring Milland’s penalty.

Milland are looking for a regular goalkeeper. The team play in Division 3 South of the West Sussex Football League, and would like to welcome an experienced goalkeeper to their friendly set up.
