PETERSFIELD Town coach Tim Farmer believes having to continually cope with missing players is limiting the team’s chances of climbing up the Wessex League.

The Rams slumped to a 3-0 loss at Shaftesbury on Saturday after gaining four points from their previous two Premier Division matches.

Max Elward and Jordan Geddes were both suspended and injuries are also starting to hit the squad, with Harry Tremlett the latest player to be sidelined with a knock.

The Rams are at home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Saturday (3pm) and away to Sholing in the League Cup next Tuesday night (7.45pm).
