ALRESFORD Town fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Fareham Town in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday.

Josh Benfield scored the only goal of the game to give the visitors the three points.

The Magpies enjoyed better fortunes last Tuesday night, when they won 2-0 at Camberley Town in the second round of the Aldershot Senior Cup.

Duarte Martins and Ollie Dennett scored for the visitors.
