A JUNIOR football club at the heart of the community is to benefit from new kits thanks to the Tesco Petersfield store.
Petersfield Town Juniors, based in Love Lane, was formed in 1985 and runs sides from Under 8s to Under 18s as well as mini soccer teams for both girls and boys.
The Tesco Petersfield store on The Causeway has sponsored new strips for the Under 8 Terminators, Under 13 Phantom Blues and AFC Petersfield Youth teams.
Tesco Petersfield store manager Warren Partridge said: “Petersfield Town Juniors have been competing in Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and North Hants leagues and county cup competitions for more than 35 years and is an integral part of youth football in the region.

“We are delighted to be able to help them in this way and wish them well for the rest of the season.”
Petersfield Town Juniors Chairman Nick Orr said: “The players are delighted with the new strips and they all look really smart. It is great that Tesco is supporting the club in this way and we are really grateful to them.”
