PETERSFIELD Town manager Ian Saunders is still keeping his cards very close to his chest when it comes to new signings.

Monday night’s first training session of the new campaign was mostly made up of last year’s squad players but there was a sprinkling of new faces among the more familiar ones.

Saunders is keen to prevent rival clubs from snatching his targets and will only announce new signings when they are 100 per cent done.

He said:?“We have to be careful not to alert other clubs who we are looking at but signings will be announced when things are confirmed.”
