PETERSFIELD Town have launched what has become a now annual appeal to residents and businesses to help them ‘upcycle’ their Love Lane Stadium home.

A?range of works are carried out on the ground every close season to ensure it is in good condition when the new season kicks off.

In recent years the club has appealed to the community for any materials they have and no longer need, which could be donated to the Rams in renovating the stadium site.

In the past the club has been donated everything from paint, tiles, kitchen work surfaces, tools and furniture – and all of it has been put to good use.

“We all have things sitting in our garages and lofts that we have meant to use but have been sat there for years gathering dust,” said Petersfield chairman Graeme Moir.

“It could be some old pots of paint left over from some decorating or kitchen or bathroom units you have never got round to fitting.

“You might be a business who has materials you no longer need but it could be put to new use in the stadium site.

“We are always on the look out for timber, metal and other materials to either improve the facilities or for use in new projects we are planning.

“If you no longer need it, get in touch and, if we can make use of what you have, we will come and get it.”
