Bedford Town 2 Petersfield Town 2: Petersfield battled back from being two goals down at half time to pick up a point at Bedford Town on Tuesday night.
The Rams were well worth their point and were unlucky not to pick up all three, despite looking like they were in for a difficult evening at one stage.
The match started fairly evenly but two goals in three minutes saw the home side race into a two goal lead shortly before the half hour mark.
At this stage they threatened to run away with the game as Petersfield were struggling to live with the pace of their attackers.
But the Rams hung in there until half time and five minutes into the second half Howard Neighbour hooked the ball past the keeper and into the net.
On the hour mark substitute Gary Norgate was left unmarked at the far post to fire the ball into the net and the Rams were now having the better of the game.
With two minutes remaining Joe Briggs raced on to a through ball into the penalty area but the home keeper just beat him to it and smothered the danger when it looked like the Petersfield man would grab the winner.
