PETERSFIELD Town manager Mark Summerhill has quashed rumours linking him with a move to Fareham Town.

Summerhill insists he is happy at Love Lane.

“Rumours that I’m off to Fareham are absolutely not true,” said Petersfield’s manager.

“Fareham have not spoken to me and I’m really happy at Petersfield Town.

“We’ve had to rebuild this season and we’ve now got a group of local lads who are settled and I hope they’ll also be here next season.

“I’m going to be here this season and next season, and I’d like us to challenge for promotion next year.”
