ANOTHER two key Petersfield Town players have signed registration forms to remain at the club ahead of the new campaign.

Olly Kershaw and Will Essai have both signed to stay at Love Lane.

The pair join Nick Hall, Kris Stephens, Harry Tremlett, Gari Judd, Jake Bourton, Will Webb, Jordan Geddes and Ryan Kennedy in committing their futures to the Rams.

Petersfield manager Mark Summerhill is delighted Kershaw and Essai are staying at the club. He said: “Olly is a great lad who was our best player in our Wessex Premier Division relegation season. He’s a naturally left-footed defender who likes to get forward.

“Will Essai has been at the club a long time and he had his best season last year.

“He is a big player locally and lots of people have tried to get him.

“In the past couple of years Will has only signed the week before the season, so it’s great he’s signed up for us already.

“It is a big boost for us that Olly and Will are both staying at the club.”

Petersfield have also confirmed that Harry Bedford and Josh Watts are joining the club.

“Harry is a defender who can play in midfield and Josh can play anywhere in midfield,” said Summerhill.

“Harry played for Portchester last year and he is a great signing for us with Wessex League experience.

“Josh was at Hayling last year, and getting him and Harry in is huge for us.”
