PETERSFIELD Town continued their winning pre-season form with two victories at Hamble on Saturday.

In the first game of the afternoon, played in blistering heat, the Rams edged out 2-1 winners against their Wessex Division 1 hosts.

In the second match, Hamble led 2-0 at half time but Petersfield battled back in the second period to score three times and claim a 3-2 victory.

Saturday capped a good week for the Rams as their pre-season preparations continued.

On Wednesday night they ran out 6-0 winners against Wessex Premier Division side Fawley and last Monday they beat US Portsmouth 3-0.

Tuesday night’s home game against Sholing at Love Lane had to be postponed due to problems with Petersfield’s pitch.

This coming Tuesday’s friendly against Havant and Waterlooville has been switched to Westleigh Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
