PETERSFIELD Town crashed out of the Wessex League Cup last Tuesday night as they were trounced 7-1 by United Services Portsmouth.

With several key players unavailable, and having lost 6-2 to US Portsmouth in the league on their previous visit just two and a half weeks earlier, the Rams travelled with some trepidation. The home side took the lead in the 15th minute through Tom Jeffes.

Further goals were scored by Harry Potter (2), James Franklyn, Josh Hazell, Jordan Pile and Harry Sergeant.
