PETERSFIELD Town face some busy weekends at Love Lane.

The Rams now face four home matches on a Saturday in a row at their own stadium – starting with their bid to get into the second qualifying round of the FA?Cup for the very first time in the club’s history as either United or Town.

Southern League Premier Division side Weymouth visit Love Lane on Saturday, September 12, in the first qualifying round of the competition.

It should bring a bumper pay day for the Rams as the Dorset side are expected to bring a travelling support of several hundred fans.

The winners of the cup tie will also receive £3,000 in prize money.

Petersfield then return to league action with back to back home games against Royston Town on September 19 and Ware on September 26.

The Rams then return to cup action when Winchester City come to town in the FA?Trophy on October 3.

The Hampshire side are also expected to be well backed when they head east along the A272.

Last season’s encounter between the two sides brought in a crowd of 200 at Love Lane.
