Petersfield Town face tough test against Blackfield and Langley

LAST Tuesday night may have seemed like the darkest day in Petersfield Town’s season but there was a worse one back in the early days of the campaign last August.

Blackfield and Langley inflicted a humiliating 10-0 defeat on the Rams – and they are Petersfield’s next opponents this Saturday at the SureFix Home Improvements Stadium (3pm).

After that comes a trip across the Solent to face Newport IOW next Tuesday evening (7.45pm).

The island side sit two places and seven points above the Rams and the visitors must win to have any chance of climbing off the foot of the table.
