Petersfield Town have been handed another home tie in the Third Qualifying Round draw for the Emirates FA Cup.

The Rams will face Vanarama National League South side St Albans City at Love Lane - the game is due to be played on Saturday, October 10.

St Albans currently sit in 18th position in their league table and they beat Deal Town 2-1 at home in the last round.

Petersfield Town chairman Graeme Moir said: "We wanted a home draw so we are happy to be hosting St Albans City.

"I’m sure it will be another great day for our club - I urge as many people as possible to come along and support us on the day.

"The atmosphere was superb against Cirencester on Saturday but we will need to take it up several notches for the next round.

"This cup run is bringing more and more publicity for the club and raising the profile of the town as well so it is a great chance for us to put Petersfield well and truly on the map."

Confirmation of the date and time for the match, as well as ticket details, will be released by the club later this week.
