PETERSFIELD Town goalkeeper Matt Shortt is going to continue his recovery from injury with a short spell at Moneyfields.

The Rams keeper had been almost ever present during the club’s two title winning seasons in 2013-14 and 2014-15 but he has been out injured since the opening day of this season at AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

Shortt has now recovered from his ankle injury and made his comeback in Wednesday night’s game against Hayling United.

To aid his recovery to full match fitness, Shortt has now been dual registered with Wessex Premier Division side Moneyfields and is expected to spend the next few weeks with the Portsmouth-based side.

After this short spell at Dover Road he will be back at Love Lane to take on Anthony Ender in a battle to claim the number one shirt.
