PETERSFIELD Town manager Mark Summerhill hasn’t wasted any time in adding to his coaching staff during the close season.

The Rams’ boss has been busy since the end of the season and has announced two additions to the football management team for the 2018-19 campaign.

Daniel Trussler has left his role with West Sussex side Rogate to move to the SureFix Home Improvements Stadium and will be assistant manager for the first team.

The reserves now also have a new manager with Dan Nash appointed to run Petersfield’s second string in the Wyvern League next season.

Trussler has an impressive track record in the West Sussex League as he guided Rogate from Division 5 to the Premier Division during his time with the village club.

Summerhill was delighted to add him to his first team coaching staff and added: “Dan is yet another local addition who will help to attract the best local talent to the club.”

Dan Nash has plenty of links in and around Petersfield as he has previously had spells with Clanfield and AFC Petersfield in coaching roles.

The reserve team manager’s role will take on extra significance next season following the re-introduction of a youth team at Petersfield. Summerhill added: “Dan will be the link between the under-18s and the first team by giving players coming through an opportunity to break into men’s football.”
