Petersfield Town manager Ian Saunders is pleased the Rams will remain in Division 1 Central for the 2016-17 season.
The Football Association revealed on Thursday the club allocations for each division from steps one to four of the non-league pyramid system.
Many in the Petersfield camp - including Saunders - believed a move to the Ryman League was a big possibility but the Rams boss is more than happy with staying in the Evo-Stik League Southern for the forthcoming campaign.
He told the club’s official website: "I’m pleased we are staying in the same division for next season.
"I had a feeling we might get transferred to the Ryman League and to be honest my thought process for next season was starting to look in that direction and who we might play.
"However, staying in Division 1 Central is great for us - we have an understanding of what is required and now we can start our planning for the new season knowing what teams we will come up against."
Although it will be the same division the Rams play in next season there will be plenty of new challenges to look forward to with seven new sides added to the line-up.
AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Ware and Godalming Town have all been transferred to other divisions but Farnborough will provide another Hampshire derby for Petersfield.
Promoted into Division 1 Central are AFC Dunstable, AFC Kempston Rovers, Ashford Town (Middlesex) and Kidlington.
Marlow and Histon complete the new Division 1 Central line-up for the new season.
Those remaining in Division 1 Central from last season are: Arlesey Town, Aylesbury, Aylesbury United, Barton Rovers, Beaconsfield SYCOB, Bedford Town, Chalfont St Peter, Egham Town, Fleet Town, Hanwell Town, Northwood, Potters Bar Town, Royston Town and Uxbridge.
Saunders added: "Although it was a shame to lose AFC Rushden and Diamonds in terms of the crowds they attracted, it will be good to face Farnborough in the same division.
"They are a well supported club and I’m sure they will be many peoples’ favourites to win the division."
The season is due to start on August 6 and the fixtures are expected to be released in July.
