IT’S BEEN a few years since Petersfield Town were last at the top of a table but they finished in a lofty position in one important table this season.

The Rams finished in second place in the Respect table for the Wessex Premier Division and they received a cash reward for their good behaviour.

Petersfield were presented with the runners-up prize of £300 at the Wessex League’s end-of-season dinner in Southampton last Saturday evening.

Bashley were the winners of the Respect table, with Brockenhurst in third place and Alresford Town in fourth place.
