PETERSFIELD Town crashed out of the FA?Cup on Saturday – and chairman Graeme Moir was less than happy about it.

After watching his side lose 2-1 at CB?Hounslow United, Moir said the team’s performance was nowhere near what the players are capable of.

“Based on Saturday’s performance we need to raise our game across the team considerably,” reflected the chairman.

“We know we can play far better than that but apart from the opening 20 minutes, we just weren’t at the races collectively.

“I?can take getting beaten if everyone has tried their hardest but we gave that game away to a side we should beat.”
