PETERSFIELD Town’s pre-season preparations stepped up with the start of friendly matches in the past week.

Last Monday night the Rams beat a regimental side on Thorney Island 3-1, and on this Monday just gone they ran out 3-0 winners at US?Portsmouth.

Last Saturday Petersfield had two matches – they drew 1-1 at Amesbury Town and lost 4-1 at Romsey Town.

The friendlies keep on coming now with the Rams at Fawley tonight (Wednesday) and Hamble Club on Saturday.

Next Tuesday night Petersfield host Ryman Premier Division outfit Havant and Waterlooville at Love Lane (7.45pm).
