PETERSFIELD Town’s reserve team finished their season with a 1-0 defeat at Tadley Calleva Reserves on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the absence of several regular players, Petersfield ran the home side close in going down to a narrow defeat.

There was a possibility that Petersfield would have to rearrange their home match against Alton’s Reserves, which was postponed on April 6 because Alton were not able to raise a side.

However, the Wyvern League have decided the match will not be rescheduled, with three points awarded to the Rams.

Those points mean Petersfield have finished in eighth place in the Wyvern Combination Football League East Division.

The Rams finished with 24 points from their 20 league games after winning seven, drawing three and losing ten matches.
