PETERSFIELD Town’s youth team returned to action on Sunday, six weeks since their last outing, with a tough trip to AFC Stoneham.

With a makeshift side, including a non-specialist goalkeeper, they held out for 65 minutes before running out of steam to go down 6-0.

AFC Petersfield fell to a 3-0 defeat at QK Southampton in Division One of the Hampshire Premier League on Saturday, but Denmead picked up three points with a 2-0 win against Andover New Street Swifts.

Liphook United drew 4-4 at Locks Heath in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, and Liss Athletic drew 3-3 at Winchester Castle.
