PETERSFIELD Town’s youth side returned victorious from a long trip to Highworth Town Juniors Youth in the Hampshire Youth Cup on Sunday, after defeating their Wiltshire hosts 5-1.

Ewan White (2), Jared Pearce, Jamie Triggs and Dan Bowles scored the Rams’ goals to set up an away fixture against United Services Portsmouth Youth on Sunday, December 15.

Petersfield Town’s reserve team were frustrated by the weather as their Wyvern Combination Football League East Division match at Liss Athletic Reserves last Tuesday night was postponed.

Petersfield’s reserves are in sixth place in the Wyvern Combination Football League East Division table after picking up 16 points from their first nine league matches of the season.

The team’s next match is at home to 11th-placed Clanfield Reserves at Love Lane on Saturday (3pm).
