CLANFIELD remain in fifth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after earning a comprehensive 7-1 victory at Infinity on Saturday afternoon.

Darren Ferguson gave the visitors the lead with a penalty in the tenth minute, and Harry Potter made it 2-0 to the Peel Park oufit on 21 minutes.

Mike Newman made it 3-0 to the visitors in the 28th minute, although Connor Reed pulled a goal back for Infinity on 33 minutes.

Potter scored his second of the match in the 40th minute to give Clanfield a convincing 4-1 lead at half time, before completing his hat-trick on 62 minutes.

Ferguson then scored his second of the match in the 77th minute to make it 6-1, and Elliot Sills completed the scoring on 83 minutes.
