HEAVY rain meant a number of Saturday’s scheduled football matches were postponed.

Alresford Town’s home match against Fareham Town in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division was postponed, as was Petersfield Town’s trip to Whitchurch United in Division One of the Sydenhams Wessex League.

Liphook United’s trip to Winchester Castle in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division was postponed, as was Liss Athletic’s trip to Sway.

AFC Petersfield’s game against Michelmersh and Timsbury was also postponed.
