PETERSFIELD Town coach Mark Summerhill’s phone has been red hot as the club’s search for recruits continues.

The Rams’ coach was happier with his side’s performance at the weekend when they lost 3-1 at home to Portland United.

But he is looking to boost the squad size at Love Lane further and he has been working overtime in the hunt for fresh faces to come in and boost the numbers available for selection.

He was running the rule over a number of recruits during a behind closed doors training match ahead of the club’s next league game – at home to Lymington Town on Saturday (3pm).
