LIPHOOK United were in seven heaven on Saturday after earning a comprehensive 7-1 win at Colden Common in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League.

Sam Gray opened the scoring for the visitors in the tenth minute, and Tom Bedford doubled Liphook’s advantage on 14 minutes. S Gray put the visitors 3-0 up in the 17th minutes, and Dan Gray scored Liphook’s fourth and final goal of the first half on 30 minutes.

The onslaught continued after the break as Steve Harding got himself on the scoresheet in the 52nd minute to give Liphook a 5-0 lead. Bedford scored his second of the match on 68 minutes to make it 6-0, and S Gray completed his hat-trick in the 73rd minute to make it 7-0. Josh Coakley then pulled a goal back for Colden Common in the 78th minute to make it 7-1.

The result leaves Liphook in tenth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League table.
