THE NEW signings keep on arriving for Petersfield Town as their squad shows signs of settling down into a good run of form.
Striker Callum Coker and defender Matt Graham have arrived at Love Lane in the last week or so and they have already featured in first team matches.
Manager Andy Neal has had to rebuild the first team squad after former boss Ian Saunders departed a week before the season was due to get under way.
Saunders’ departure prompted the exodus of a large number of first team squad regulars, which has heavily disrupted Petersfield’s start to the season.
Despite their 2-1 setback at home to Northwood last Saturday, the Rams continue to show steady improvement in their play.
The likes of Coker, Graham and new keeper Aaron Bufton have added some much needed experience to the young talent in the Petersfield squad.
Against Northwood the Rams more than held their own and got to half time with the score still at 0-0 and they looked the side more likely to go on and win.
However, the Achilles heel which has hit them time and again this campaign flared up again – letting in goals at the beginning of either half and in batches of two or more close together.
If Petersfield can solve these slips of concentration, which are costing them games at present, that should allow them to start picking up regular points.
